Getting to the Island

Getting around on the island while on holiday

Amity Point is located on the North Westerly tip of the Island towards Flinders Beach. Amity Point is anchored with spectacular Moreton Bay Marine Park on its foreshore and views of the Pacific Ocean and Moreton Island. Boat Access - Amity Point also has a boat ramp for commercial and recreational boats and can be easily accessed all year round on both the high and low tides. The ramp provides anglers and recreational watercraft with best of Moreton Bay at your fingertips. Yachties please remember there is a high restriction with power lines.

Taxi - North Stradbroke Island does have a taxi service and can be contacted on 0408 193 685 or 131 924.

Bus - Alternatively, there is a island bus service which runs regularly from the water taxis and barges from Dunwich. Each service reaches Amity Point with a connecting bus along East Coast Road.
